Synopsis

On the 17th birthday of transgender girl Huang Xiaodi, her family took her out under the pretense of buying a birthday gift. Instead, she was brought to an “Internet addiction school” on Gele Mountain in Chongqing — a place her parents believed could “correct” her. There, Xiaodi endured psychological and physical abuse, learning to hide her identity and bide her time. Eventually, an opportunity to escape arose.
